After graduating at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under the tuition of Paolo Piva in 2015, Hajny started working on her "Lichtobjekte". These curious lamps are made out of discarded light bulbs, melted and crushed into a compact geometric form. The useless devices gain a new faux sleek effect while the materiality of the bulbs - not only their glass shells, but also their contact wires and metal sockets - is emphasised.
